My artistic view was formulated while living in other countries and traveling around the world.
My sources of inspiration emerged while observing nature, people, and different cultures. My previous occupations - anthropology, archaeology and especially fashion design - combine to create the main fabric of my artistic expression.
For two decades sculpting in stone has been my passion and main activity.
The bronze works were my early works. The curiosity and desire to study the material in depth led me to work in stone. The stone-carving process has opened up a challenging, intriguing and fascinating world. In my imagination, I see the shape hidden inside the stone. To make the hidden visible both physical and mental work are required. It is an emotionally difficult process but a therapeutic one that fills my heart with great satisfaction and happiness.
I work mostly in my Israeli studio. For one to two months each year, I sculpt in the ancient artist town of Pietersanta, Italy, at the foot of the Apuan Alps, where Carrara's marble quarries are located.
